Christian Pulisic Sends Clear Message to AC Milan About His Future
The American opened up about adapting to Rúben Amorim’s system and made clear what he hopes will happen in his upcoming talks with the club.
Christian Pulisic is approaching an important moment in his future with AC Milan. The American has entered the final year of his contract, and the club is already considering extending his stay on a long-term deal.
According to reports, Milan are preparing an offer that could keep him at San Siro until 2031, while the forward continues working his way back to his best after an injury-disrupted start to the season.
Pulisic, for his part, left little doubt about what he wants. “I am very happy at Milan. The club is giving me everything, it helps me a great deal. I am concentrating on playing, but we’ll talk about it, I hope soon,” he said during an event at the club’s San Siro store.
“I Want to Continue Here”
The United States international reinforced that message when asked directly about the possibility of signing a new contract.
“I feel really happy at Milan and want to continue here,” Pulisic said, making his intentions clear as he waits for talks to progress.
His desire matches Milan’s interest in keeping one of their most important players from recent seasons, particularly now that he is beginning to regain rhythm after the physical issues he carried over from the World Cup.

Pulisic Is Starting to Understand Amorim’s Milan
The arrival of Rúben Amorim has also forced the American to adapt to a new way of playing.
“It has been a strange start to the season. I was coming back from an injury and I really wanted to play, but it took time. I worked with the team and coach to get back on the field. We are learning his system, how he wants to play. I am very positive about him,” he explained.
Pulisic highlighted that the new coach demands very specific movements and positioning when Milan have the ball, while still giving his attacking players freedom to make decisions in the final third.
“He wants us to find certain positions, especially when we have the ball, and to make specific movements. Obviously, we are also given some freedom in attack, but there are principles and positions to keep to,” he added.
The Goal That Could Mark a New Beginning
Pulisic recently found the net against Lecce, scoring his first Serie A goal since December and providing a positive sign after several difficult months.
The American also decided not to join the national team during this international window, instead remaining at Milanello to continue building match fitness following the injury he suffered at the World Cup.
With the schedule beginning to intensify, getting Pulisic back to full strength could be crucial for Amorim. And as the American works his way back toward his best, his message about the future is already clear: he wants to remain a Rossoneri player.
