Liam Rosenior, possible next Chelsea coach arrives in London.
The potential new Chelsea manager arrives in London from Strasbourg to engage in talks with the English club.
New manager for Chelsea?
After managing Strasbourg to draw against Nice on Saturday, coach Liam Rosenior arrived in London to hold talks with English club Chelsea Football Club.
Rosenior is the club's preferred candidate to replace Italian Enzo Maresca and current interim manager Calum McFarlane, who secured a draw against Manchester City, earning Chelsea a valuable point that helps them remain in fifth place in the league, closely followed by Manchester United with the same number of points.
Who is Liam Rosenior?
Liam Rosenior is the current head coach of Strasbourg in Ligue 1, a club owned by the same company as Chelsea, that is currently seventh in the league.
If he signs the contract with Chelsea, Rosenior is expected to play his first game as head coach against Fulham on January 7 at Craven Cottage Stadium, home of the Lilywhites.

Next 24 hours
Liam Rosenior will be interviewed to determine the value of his contract and to align the club's objectives and trajectory under his football management.
If this action goes ahead, Strasbourg will be left without an active or apparent coach. This will prompt "Les Bleu et Blanc" to seek a capable and suitable candidate to replace Rosenior.
McFarlane, the interim coach who secured the draw against Manchester City, stressed that his instructions are to train and manage the team, but that the new coach could arrive on Monday. In the meantime, Calum McFarlane is in charge of the squad.
