PSG and Strasbourg Share a Thrilling 3-3 Draw at the Parc Des Princes
Paris Saint-Germain and Strasbourg delivered an intense showdown at the Parc des Princes, ending in a dramatic 3-3 draw. Luis Enrique’s men managed to salvage a point late in the match after being outplayed for much of the game by Argentine forward Joaquín Panichelli, who scored twice and nearly led the visitors to a famous win over the reigning Ligue 1 champions.
Panichelli shines as Strasbourg comes close to victory
The match started well for PSG, who took the lead through Bradley Barcola after a neat exchange with Désiré Doué. However, Strasbourg responded with determination. Around the 30th minute, Panichelli leveled the score with a powerful header off a Guela Doué cross, showcasing his killer instinct and setting the tone for a standout personal performance.
The visitors, orchestrated in midfield by Valentín Barco and Julio Enciso, controlled possession and continuously threatened the PSG defense. Before halftime, a defensive error by Doué allowed Barco to win the ball back and assist Diego Moreira, who slotted home to give Strasbourg a 2-1 lead with a precise finish past Lucas Chevalier.

In the second half, Panichelli struck again with a low, angled shot to extend Strasbourg’s advantage to 3-1, leaving PSG on the ropes. However, a foul by Mike Penders on Doué inside the box gave Gonçalo Ramos the chance to pull one back from the penalty spot in the 58th minute, reigniting hope for the home side.
Mayulu saves PSG in the final minutes
With time running out, Luis Enrique made several crucial substitutions, bringing on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, William Pacho, and Ndjantou. The changes paid off as PSG regained control and began to pile on the pressure. After Kang-In Lee hit the post, Senny Mayulu headed home the equalizer in the dying moments, sealing a 3-3 draw and sparing PSG from a home defeat.
Strasbourg, who came within inches of victory, left with plenty of positives thanks to Panichelli’s standout performance. The Argentine now has seven goals this season, establishing himself as one of the breakout stars of French football.
Despite missing key players such as Ousmane Dembélé, Marquinhos, João Neves, and Fabián Ruiz, PSG managed to remain unbeaten in the league, though defensive frailties were once again exposed. Meanwhile, Strasbourg continues to impress and prove that they can compete toe-to-toe with France’s biggest clubs.
