Osimhen Offered to Atlético Madrid
According to Club Uría, Victor Osimhen has been offered to Atlético Madrid, but the Spanish club has reportedly ruled out a move because of the transfer fee and its confidence in Julián Álvarez.
Victor Osimhen has once again emerged as one of the biggest names in the transfer market. According to a report from Club Uría, the Nigerian striker has been offered to Atlético Madrid as the club explores options ahead of the new season.
The 27-year-old Galatasaray forward was reportedly presented to Atlético through intermediaries, with the proposed transfer valued at around €75 million.
The report also claims that Osimhen would be willing to lower his salary in order to play under Diego Simeone, a coach he has publicly praised following their UEFA Champions League meeting last season.
Despite the player's interest, Atlético Madrid has reportedly rejected the proposal due to financial considerations and because the club views Julián Álvarez as its long-term centerpiece in attack.
According to Club Uría, Osimhen has also been offered to Barcelona, Arsenal, and Tottenham, with Spurs reportedly submitting an offer worth more than €55 million, although it still falls short of Galatasaray's asking price.
