“We’re Barça,” he said. “We have the team to do it, and it would be very cowardly of us not to think that this year we’re going for the Champions League.”
However, Lamine also drew an important distinction between ambition and overconfidence. He believes it would be a mistake for anyone to guarantee Barcelona will win the trophy because no team can know with certainty what will happen in a competition as demanding as the Champions League.
