Dani Ceballos of Real Madrid Was Injured After the Match Against Osasuna and Is Expected to Take Months to Recover
The Real Madrid midfielder was injured after the match against Osasuna, and it is expected that the midfielder will enter a recovery process lasting several months
Injury in Madrid
Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos will be out of action for an estimated two months after suffering a "muscle injury to the soleus of his right leg." This injury occurred during Real Madrid's defeat to Osasuna in El Sadar, Pamplona.
"After the tests carried out today on our player Dani Ceballos by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the soleus of his right leg," Real Madrid reported on its website.
It could be months
According to EFE, the injury that Ceballos has could keep him out for a period of close to two months. The club will evaluate the player and his performance as the recovery and rehabilitation period progresses, but for the moment Dani Ceballos will not be able to play with his Real Madrid teammates and will have to wait for further instructions from the team and the Merengues' medical service.
Ceballos' numbers this season
The native of Utrera has accumulated 810 minutes of play between all the matches of the domestic and international competitions in which he has participated. In total, he has played 22 games without goals or assists to record, but he has a yellow card in LaLiga, considering that in a significant portion of these games the player has entered from the bench and did not start the game as a starter on the field of play.
If this situation does not improve and the stipulated recovery times in months are indeed met, it could be a major obstacle in the 29-year-old midfielder's career.
