According to Transfermarkt valuations, the two squads combine for an estimated US$3.21 billion in market value, with France leading at approximately US$1.78 billion, compared to US$1.43 billion for Spain.
Four of the tournament's five most valuable players
The semifinal will feature four of the five highest-valued players at the World Cup.
Lamine Yamal tops the list at US$234 million, followed by Kylian Mbappé at US$211 million. Michael Olise and Pedri are each valued at US$176 million.
The only player in the top five not involved in this semifinal is Norway striker Erling Haaland, who is also valued at US$234 million.

France owns the world's most valuable squad
France enters the match as the most valuable national team in world football, with an estimated market value of US$1.78 billion.
Spain ranks third at US$1.43 billion, while fellow semifinalist England is valued at US$1.59 billion. Argentina, the other remaining semifinalist, has an estimated value of US$945 million.
Seven players worth at least US$117 million
The two squads feature seven players valued at US$117 million or more.
Spain contributes Lamine Yamal (US$234 million) and Pedri (US$176 million).
France boasts Kylian Mbappé (US$211 million), Michael Olise (US$176 million), Désiré Doué (US$140 million), William Saliba (US$117 million) and Ousmane Dembélé (US$117 million).
Overall, 22 players across both squads are valued at US$59 million or more.
Spain leads in goalkeepers, France dominates defense and attack
Spain holds the advantage in goalkeeping value.
Its three goalkeepers are worth a combined US$113 million, compared to US$67 million for France.
France has the edge in defense, with a combined value of US$473 million, while Spain's defenders are worth US$337 million.
Spain's midfield is stronger in market value, totaling US$491 million, compared to US$365 million for France.
The biggest gap comes in attack. France's forwards and wingers are valued at approximately US$878 million, while Spain's attacking unit is worth US$489 million, despite featuring the match's most valuable player, Lamine Yamal.
