Watch Live! Jordan vs Morocco Final in the FIFA Arab Cup on beIN SPORTS
Jordan have been the free-scoring force of the FIFA Arab Cup, racking up 10 goals in five matches on their way to the final. Morocco, by contrast, have built their run on defensive excellence, conceding just once across the same stretch — and even that came via an own goal in their opening group match.
Even without injured Nashama forward Yazan Al Naimat, the stage is set for a classic clash of styles at Lusail Stadium: Jordan’s attacking flair against Morocco’s near-impenetrable back line.
The Morocco national football team are aiming to extend their love affair with Qatar, three years after reaching the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup. Meanwhile, Jordan national football team also have fond memories of Lusail, having played the Asian Cup final at the same venue two years ago.

The Match
African heavyweights Morocco and Asian Cup finalists Jordan — both already bound for next year’s World Cup — now have unfinished business in an Arab Cup final that pits the tournament’s best attack against its best defense.
Jordan were dealt a blow when Al Naimat suffered a long-term knee injury in the quarter-final win over Iraq. However, head coach Jamal Sellami still boasts depth and quality, led by Ali Olwan, the tournament’s top scorer, who will shoulder much of the attacking responsibility.
Morocco have been exceptionally solid, even without several regular starters. Over the last four matches, goalkeeper El Mehdi Benabid, centre-backs Soufiane Bouftini and Marwane Saadane, and full-backs Mohamed Boulacsout and Hamza El Moussaoui have played virtually every minute, forming a remarkably consistent defensive unit.
Anchoring it all is captain Mohamed Hrimat, whose leadership and tactical intelligence have been central to Morocco’s control. Jordan will need to do what no team has managed so far in this tournament: find a way through the Atlas Lions’ wall.
Both nations exited at the quarter-final stage four years ago. With defending champions Algeria already eliminated in this edition, a new name will be engraved on the Arab Cup trophy on the evening of 18 December, Qatar’s National Day.
Players to Watch
Mahmoud Al Mardi (Jordan)
A quietly crucial figure, Al Mardi has been the link between defense and attack in Jordan’s 3-4-2-1 system. Reliable, disciplined, and tactically intelligent, his role may become even more vital in the absence of Al Naimat as Jordan chase their first Arab Cup title.
Mohamed Hrimat (Morocco)
While Morocco’s defense has earned deserved praise, Hrimat is the glue that holds it together. The captain frequently drops between the centre-backs to form a back three, allowing the full-backs to push forward. Calm on the ball and authoritative off it, he is the engine of Morocco’s structure.
