Estudiantes de La Plata and Flamengo played out a 0-0 draw in the first leg of the 2026 Copa Libertadores semifinals, with the Argentine side creating the better chances but failing to turn their dominance into goals.
The hosts started aggressively, putting pressure on the Brazilian defense from the opening minutes. Just two minutes into the match, Baltasar Rodríguez tested Agustín Rossi with a long-range effort, forcing the goalkeeper into an early save.
Although Flamengo enjoyed spells of possession, Estudiantes gradually took control and created their best opportunities through crosses and set pieces.
