Bayern Munich denied the rumors linking Michael Olise with a departure. CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen assured that they did not receive formal proposals, despite reports linking him to Real Madrid and Liverpool. "That simply wasn't true. We didn't have any offer on the table. Olise is extremely important for this team. He's a magician on the field," he declared to Sport1.

Star performance

Since his arrival in 2024 from Crystal Palace, Olise has become a key figure with 111 matches, 45 goals, and 47 assists. Only Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappé surpass him in offensive contributions in the major leagues. In the last season, he created 123 goal-scoring opportunities, just behind Bruno Fernandes. At the start of the 2026-27 campaign, he already has three goals and one assist in four matches.

Future in suspense

Although Real Madrid and Liverpool denied any contact, Dreesen was cautious about his continuity: "In this business, making promises is complicated. Will we be able to retain him permanently? We'll discuss it again next summer." For now, Olise remains the creative engine of a Bayern team that seeks to consolidate its dominance in Germany and shine again in Europe
