Xabi Alonso's future, after his historic season with Leverkusen, where he lost only one match out of 53, seems to be set, at least in the football world's eyes, as everyone confirms that he will "manage Real Madrid someday."

However, his destination will have to wait, as besides confirming that he will continue with the German club next season, his contract is valid until 2026.

"This title tastes different from those I achieved as a player. Now, the credit goes to them, the players, and I just have to prepare them as best as possible from Monday to Sunday," Xabi responded to Marca newspaper.
