A project that continues to grow

The current Genoa coach acquired the club in January 2025, when it was still competing in Serie D, with the aim of building a solid project and returning the team to professional football.

In April 2026, the Biancoviola won Group F and secured promotion to Serie C with one matchday remaining, ending a 35-year absence from the professional divisions.

A choice based on experience and trust

De Rossi decided to entrust the club presidency to someone very close to him: his father, Alberto De Rossi.

Daniele will remain the owner of the institution, while Alberto will be responsible for leading its structure and guiding the team through its new chapter in Serie C.

The decision also reflects the new president’s extensive career, having accumulated more than three decades of experience at Roma, mainly as coach of the club’s Primavera team.

Much more than an institutional role

Alberto De Rossi will not be limited to serving as president. He will also take control of the club’s technical department.

The objective is to use his knowledge and experience to build a recognizable identity that will allow Ostiamare to remain in professional football over the long term.

A story that returns to where it began

Ostiamare holds special meaning for Daniele De Rossi, as it was the club where he began playing before joining Roma’s youth academy at the age of 16.

Decades later, the World Cup winner returned as owner to rescue and transform the institution. Now, after securing promotion, he has brought his father into an initiative that combines sporting ambition, local identity and family tradition.

With Daniele as owner and Alberto leading both the presidency and the technical department, Ostiamare is preparing to begin a historic chapter in Serie C and prove that its return to professional football may be only the beginning.
