Franco Mastantuono continues to be strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid. Mastantuono contract with River Plate runs until December 31, 2026, and Real Madrid current plan is to bring him in during the next winter transfer window. Still, there is some hesitation regarding the move, as the player has a profile quite similar to that of Turkish midfielder Arda Güler, who gained prominence under Carlo Ancelotti in the final stretch of this season.
