Ilkay Gündogan, current midfielder for FC Barcelona and the German National Team, is not in the best physical shape, at least according to Julian Nagelsmann, the current coach of Germany.

Nagelsmann believes that Gündogan is quite exhausted, and this was evident in the matches against France (2-0) and the Netherlands (2-1).

The German coach thinks the reason for this is the large number of minutes he plays with Barcelona, as he seems to "play absolutely everything."

"Illy plays 90 minutes every game for Barcelona. He's not as fresh; he has many games under his belt, and he can feel that," Nagelsmann stated, noting that Gündogan has currently registered five goals and 10 assists with the Catalan club.
