ONE Friday Fights 156 Results: Kongsuk Shines With TKO Win, Mongkoldetlek Makes A Statement In Long-Awaited Return
ONE Friday Fights 156 closed out the month in style at Bangkok's iconic Lumpinee Stadium on May 29.
Two-time Lumpinee Stadium World Champion Kongsuk Sitsarawatsuer earned his second consecutive highlight-reel finish with a brutal body attack that stopped Uzbek debutant Khakimov "Warrior" Anisjon in the third round of the main event.
Also, fellow Lumpinee Stadium World Champion Mongkoldetlek Por Pim-on made a thunderous promotional return in the co-main event, grinding out a unanimous decision over Russian newcomer Ruslan Tuktarov with a smothering clinch game that only got stronger as the fight went on.
Kongsuk's Body Attack Ends It
Kongsuk Sitsarawatsuer had a plan — attack the body, be patient, and let the damage pile up.
By the end of round three, the plan had worked to perfection.
The opening round was a tactical chess match, with both men exchanging kicks and getting a feel for each other’s rhythm and timing. Kongsuk started deploying his strategy, repeatedly catching the Uzbek phenom’s kicks and punishing the body with punches.
Anisjon answered back in the second, charging forward with a clean right hand that briefly disrupted Kongsuk's rhythm. However, the Thai veteran responded immediately, returning to the body and taking back control.
That paid dividends in the third and final round.
A sneaky left kick to the body sent Anisjon to the canvas for the first knockdown of the match. The 19-year-old beat the count and tried to push on, but Kongsuk was like a shark that smelled blood in the water.
The Thai marched forward with another body kick and a barrage of punches that dropped his opponent for a second time. At that point, the referee had seen enough and waved off the action at the 2:17 mark of the final round.
It marked back-to-back stoppage victories for Kongsuk, who improved his record to 70-21 and moved one step closer to the life-changing contract he has been chasing.

Mongkoldetlek Welcomes Himself Back
Mongkoldetlek Por Pim-on had been away from the global stage for four years — and he showed no signs of rust.
The Lumpinee Stadium World Champion returned against sharp and aggressive newcomer Ruslan Tuktarov and turned the contest into a masterclass of patience and clinch control.
Tuktarov started well, using his speed and combinations to trouble Mongkoldetlek early. He even landed a spinning high kick that grabbed everyone's attention, but the Thai veteran adjusted quickly.
In the second round, Mongkoldetlek brought the fight into the clinch, where Tuktarov had no answers for his stabbing knees and suffocating pressure.
That momentum carried into the third and final stanza, where the Thai's clinch dominance, push kicks, and composure secured the unanimous decision.
The victory marked the 125th win of Mongkoldetlek’s career and served as a brilliant reintroduction to ONE Championship’s global audience.
