Historic Chris Paul Returns to Los Angeles Clippers
Veteran point guard rejoins the franchise for what could be his NBA farewell season.
A Final Chapter in L.A.
Chris Paul has reached an agreement to return to the Los Angeles Clippers, where he played for six seasons, after his contract with the San Antonio Spurs expired. The news was first reported by ESPN.
A two-time Olympic gold medalist with Team USA in Beijing 2008 and London 2012, Paul has also played for the Houston Rockets and Oklahoma City Thunder. He reached his only NBA Finals appearance with the Phoenix Suns in the 2020–21 season, losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in six games.
Now back in Los Angeles, Chris Paul is determined to make one last run at the elusive title that has evaded him throughout his storied career.
