Rangers extend winning run to seven matches
Rangers continued their fantastic form under Danny Rohl as they beat Ludogorets 1-0 to extend their win streak to seven games.
Mohammed Diomande's goal in the 33rd minute was enough to separate the two sides at Ibrox, and though Rangers cannot qualify for the playoffs, Ludogorets' chances of doing so took a blow.
The Scottish Premiership side started on the front foot as Youssef Chermiti saw an early shot saved by Hendrik Bonmann before Mikey Moore blazed the rebound over the bar.
Jack Butland managed to keep out Petar Stanic shortly after the half-hour mark, and Rangers took the lead soon after as a series of missed shots in the box saw the ball land kindly for Diomande, who managed to turn it over the line.
Nicolas Raskin went close early in the second half, with his header from Thelo Aasgaard's free kick straight at Bonmann, while the German goalkeeper was also equal to an attempt from Djeidi Gassama in the 72nd minute.
Bonmann was called upon again for the visitor, denying a brilliant attempt from Findlay Curtis, while Ludogorets were unable to create any clear-cut chance of their own to snatch a draw.
