Celtic topples Aberdeen for Nancy's first win in charge
Wilfried Nancy, after opening his Celtic reign with four straight defeats, finally got his first win on the board against Aberdeen.
Kieran Tierney and James Forrest ended the Hoops' run of four straight defeats in all competitions, while closing the gap on Scottish Premiership leader Hearts to six points.
Celtic broke the deadlock six minutes before half-time when Benjamin Nygren slotted home from Daizen Maeda's cutback.
Maeda was then involved as the visitors were reduced to 10 men in first-half stoppage time, as Dylan Lobban was shown a straight red card for hauling him down and denying a goalscoring opportunity.
Celtic struck the woodwork three times after the break and were made to pay in the 74th minute, with Kjartan Kjartansson finding fellow substitute Kenan Bilalovic, who beat Kasper Schmeichel to equalise.
However, the hosts regained their advantage with two minutes remaining, as Tierney headed in Colby Donovan's inviting cross, while Forrest's close-range finish sealed the points in stoppage time.
