Cardiff crackers seal comeback win over Posh
Ronan Kpakio became the youngest player to score in a team's opening EFL game of a season since former Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha as Cardiff City started life in League One with a comeback 2-1 victory over Peterborough United.
At 18 years and 69 days, Kpakio broke the recored with a superb curling finish on the hour to complete a solid comeback ffor the Bluebirds after they had gone in at half-time a goal down thanks to Bradley Ihionvien penalty on 33 minutes.
But the hosts, who had looked the better side prior to falling behind, didn't let up in the second period and drew level minutes after the restart through captain Rubin Colwill, whose dipping free-kick from 20 yards flew into the top corner of Nicholas Bilokapic's goal.
Kpakio's strike sealed the deal and Cardiff could have won by more, but poor finishing let it down, giving new coach Brian Barry-Murphy something to work during the week.
But there was little to dampen the spirits at Cardiff City Stadium, which was buoyant after the win, a refreshing change from last season as it suffered relegation from the EFL Championship.
