RB Leipzig managing director Marcel Schafer revealed the club plans to keep Yan Diomande for the 2026-27 season.
Diomande has received plenty of interest from top European clubs, with Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool reportedly battling for the 19 year-old's signature.
He has made an impressive start to the 2026 World Cup, helping Ivory Coast reach the knockout stage for the first time in its history.
Despite the interest in Diomande, Leipzig insist it has no intention of selling the teenager this summer.
"Our clear intention is for Yan Diomande to play for RB Leipzig next season. And we're not going to deviate from that. We know exactly what we have in him," Schafer told BILD.
"Of course, if Yan continues to develop the way he has, the time will come when we’ll allow him to take the next step – but not this year.
"If we don’t find a solution, then we don’t find one – but he still has a four-year contract. So let me emphasise this once again: Yan Diomande will remain a Leipzig player."
