Juventus appoint Massara as Chief Football Officer, Chiellini takes new executive role
Juventus announced the appointment of Frederic Massara as the club's new Chief Football Officer as part of a restructuring of the men's football department, according to a statement on Tuesday.
Massara will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Giovanni Carnevali and will oversee the management and development of the men's sporting area. He will also help shape and implement the club's sporting strategy in close collaboration with Sporting Director Marco Ottolini.
The Italian executive arrives with extensive experience, having held senior sporting roles at AC Milan and AS Roma, where he played a key role in building competitive squads and long-term football projects.
Juventus also confirmed that club legend Giorgio Chiellini has been appointed Chief Club Affairs Officer. In his new position, Chiellini will strengthen the club's relationships with institutions, strategic stakeholders and football governing bodies in Italy and internationally.
"We are building a solid, competent and cohesive structure capable of supporting our ambitions both now and in the future," Juventus CEO and General Manager Giovanni Carnevali said.
"We are delighted to welcome Frederic to the Juventus family. His expertise and deep knowledge of football are a valuable addition and perfectly complement the professionalism already present within the club."
