Morocco look to seal knockout place against Haiti
Morocco head into their final Group C fixture against Haiti knowing victory would secure their place in the World Cup knockout rounds.
The Atlas Lions have taken four points from their opening two matches and are well placed to progress, while Haiti's hopes of reaching the last 32 were ended after successive defeats to Scotland and Brazil.
Few teams have looked more comfortable in the opening stages of the tournament than Morocco.
Mohamed Ouahbi's side opened with an impressive draw against Brazil before backing it up with a hard-earned 1-0 victory over Scotland, a result that put qualification firmly within their own hands heading into the final round of group matches.
Ismael Saibari's early winner against Scotland continued an excellent tournament for the PSV midfielder, who has scored in both of Morocco's matches so far.
The Atlas Lions arrive in Atlanta carrying a six-match unbeaten run in World Cup group fixtures.
That consistency has become a hallmark of the current Morocco side, who continue to build on the standards set during their historic run to the semi-finals four years ago.
Haiti, meanwhile, have found life at the World Cup difficult despite producing spells of encouraging football.
Sebastien Migne's side were narrowly beaten by Scotland before coming up against a Brazil team that quickly took control of their second match.
Elimination has already been confirmed, but Haiti still have the opportunity to end their campaign on a positive note against one of the tournament's strongest performers.
This will be the first meeting between Morocco and Haiti.
