Cape Verde face Uruguay after historic Spain draw
Cape Verde's reward for holding Spain in their first-ever World Cup match is another formidable test against Uruguay in Miami on Sunday.
Their opening match produced one of the biggest surprises of the first round, as Bubista's side held Spain to a goalless draw.
Much of that was down to Vozinha, who made a number of key saves to preserve a clean sheet.
The result left Group H wide open after the opening round of fixtures, with Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, Spain and Cape Verde all level on one point.
Uruguay were forced to settle for a draw of their own after Maxi Araujo's late strike rescued a 1-1 draw against Saudi Arabia.
Marcelo Bielsa's side struggled to find any real rhythm for much of the contest and will expect more from a squad featuring the likes of Federico Valverde, Darwin Nunez and Rodrigo Bentancur.
While Uruguay remain favourites to progress from the group, victory on Sunday would ease the pressure ahead of a final-round meeting with Spain.
With Spain already behind them, Cape Verde now face two matches that could determine whether their remarkable World Cup debut extends beyond the group stage.
Sunday's match will be the first meeting between Uruguay and Cape Verde.
Uruguay predicted lineup:
