Brazil face Scotland with top spot on the line
Brazil will look to secure first place in Group C when they take on Scotland in Miami on Wednesday.
The Selecao took a significant step towards the knockout rounds with a 3-0 victory over Haiti last time out, a performance Carlo Ancelotti described as his side's most complete of the tournament so far.
After being frustrated by Morocco in their opening match, Brazil looked far more like themselves against Haiti.
Matheus Cunha struck twice, Vinicius Junior was a constant threat and the five-time world champions played with a fluency that had been missing in their first outing.
With four points from two matches, Brazil know a victory would guarantee qualification as group winners.
Ancelotti has also been handed a timely boost with Neymar available again after injury, although the forward is not expected to be involved from the start.
Scotland, meanwhile, arrive with their World Cup fate still in their own hands.
Steve Clarke's side opened the tournament with victory over Haiti before falling to a narrow defeat against Morocco, where Ismael Saibari's goal after little more than a minute ultimately settled the contest.
The Scots pushed for an equaliser and felt they had strong claims for a penalty during the second half, but left the match empty-handed despite another disciplined display.
That result leaves Scotland knowing a victory over Brazil would secure a place in the knockout rounds and deliver one of the finest results in the country's World Cup history.
Even a draw could prove enough depending on the outcome of Morocco's meeting with Haiti.
Brazil have never lost to Scotland and won all three previous World Cup meetings between the nations, including a 2-1 victory when the sides met at France 1998.
Scotland predicted lineup:
Gunn; Patterson, Hendry, Hanley, Robertson, Tierney; Christie, Ferguson; McTominay, McGinn; Adams
Brazil predicted lineup:
Alisson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel, Douglas Santos; Guimaraes, Casemiro; Rayan, Paqueta, Vinicius Jr; Cunha
