Preview: FIFA Intercontinental Cup 2025™
Four continental champions will meet in Doha, LIVE on beIN SPORTS, to decide the ultimate winner of 2025.
While the latest winners of the UEFA Champions League, Concacaf Champions League, Copa Libertadores and CAF Champions League are all in Doha for three decisive matches, the tournament itself technically began back in September.
That opening month saw two fixtures in which African champions Pyramids overcame OFC Champions League winners Auckland City, before going on to defeat Asian champions Al-Ahli. Their next test comes in the second match of the Doha stage, the Challenger Cup, which takes place on Saturday.
Road to the Final in Doha
The action in Qatar gets underway on Wednesday, as Concacaf champions Cruz Azul face Copa Libertadores holders Flamengo in a straight knockout encounter billed as the Derby of the Americas. The winner will progress to meet Pyramids in Saturday’s Challenger Cup.
The Ultimate Showdown
Whoever emerges successful from those clashes will move on to take on PSG — the reigning UEFA Champions League champions, in the grand final on Wednesday, 17 December.
All three matches promise elite intercontinental competition, bringing together some of the world’s most successful clubs in a unique global showcase.
