Al-Nassr confirm Stefano Pioli departure
Stefano Pioli has left his role as Al-Nassr head coach, with speculation mounting over a return to Serie A side Fiorentina.
Appointed in September last year to succeed Luis Castro following a disappointing season, the former AC Milan manager was unable to secure any trophies during the 2024–25 campaign. Al-Nassr ended the season in third place in the Saudi Pro League and fell short in both the King's Cup and AFC Champions League.
Pioli is now expected to head back to Italy, with reports suggesting Fiorentina are ready to welcome him back to the dugout. Meanwhile, Al-Nassr must find a new manager, with former Porto boss Sergio Conceição - also a one-time teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo - emerging as a potential candidate for the role at Al-Awwal Park.
