Palmer signs new long-term deal with Chelsea
Cole Palmer wants to challenge for more major trophies after committing his long-term future to Chelsea, signing a new contract to run until 2034.
The Blues confirmed their star forward had penned an eight-year deal ahead of its home Premier League thrashing of Bournemouth.
Palmer has become the face of Chelsea's attack since joining from Manchester City in August 2023, scoring 58 goals and supplying 33 assists in all competitions, both team-high figures.
He helped the Blues win the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup under Enzo Maresca in 2025, while he has also been a losing finalist in the FA Cup in 2025-2026 and the Carabao Cup in 2023-2024.
Palmer is yet to enjoy sustained success in the league, with Chelsea managing finishes of sixth, fourth and 10th in his three campaigns at Stamford Bridge, and the England international wants that to change going forward.
"Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I'm delighted to sign, and I'm obviously very happy," Palmer said.
"Speaking to the owners, to the sporting directors and, obviously, the manager, they gave me a lot of confidence, so it was only right to sign.
"Speaking to players as well, everyone has the same ambitions. I feel like we win major trophies here consistently and I want to be a part of that and play a big role in it too."
