Manchester United to face Derby in FA Cup
After struggling to see off Sheffield United, Manchester United has been drawn against Championship big gun Derby County in the FA Cup fourth round.
English football's top sides were kept apart in the draw for the fourth round of the FA Cup on Tuesday (AEDT), with Manchester United and defending champion Arsenal paired with second-tier opponents.
Arsenal — seeking a third straight FA Cup title — will play at home to Burnley and United faces trip to Derby County, which is second in the Championship.
Manchester City will be away at either fourth-tier Wycombe Wanderers or relegation-threatened Premier League side Aston Villa. Liverpool will host West Ham United if it gets past Exeter City in a replay and Chelsea was given an away match at either Northampton or MK Dons, both lower-league teams.
Non-league Eastleigh, the lowest-ranked team left in the draw, will be rewarded with a home match against Leeds United if it beats Bolton Wanderers in a replay next week.
There is only one guaranteed all-Premier League match-up, which sees Alan Pardew's Crystal Palace take on Stoke City.
The fourth round matches will be played from 29 January through1 February.
