Ibrahimovic linked with MLS move
Paris Saint-Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been one of the most prolific forwards in Europe over the past decade-plus. But he might soon be headed to the MLS.
Sky Italia reported that Ibrahimovic is set to announce his decision to leave PSG after the season. If he does leave, Los Angeles is called his "most likely destination" with the report putting things at "90 percent LA" 10 percent Manchester United.
The Galaxy's three designated player spots already are full and with the team also having players on the roster who could become DPs next season, it's unclear how the club would be able to bring Ibra to Southern California.
Despite turning 34 during the year, the Swedish striker has scored 49 goals with 16 assists for the Parisians in all competitions this season. With just one game left in the Ligue 1 campaign, Ibrahimovic has 36 goals and 13 assists in just 28 games. He also scored five goals with three assists in 10 Champions League games.
Ibrahimovic has not scored fewer than 31 goals since the 2010-2011 season when he had 24 goals.
Before a potential switch, Ibrahimovic will lead Sweden in the Euros this summer.
