Sports Burst – Juventus Offer James Rodriguez Exit Strategy
Juve to offer Jan exit strategy for James, Madrid lose Kroos control, Zlatan promises better times. 5 exit polls of truth in the great sports conspiracy of life.

1) Juve to offer new year career resolution to James
There is a furious amount of financial and footballing plate-spinning underway at Real Madrid. A week ago, to placate and give formal approval of the whole concept of Gareth Bale, the Welshman was given a new deal and a hefty pay rise to make the footballer numero uno at Real Madrid.
A week later, it was Cristiano Ronaldo being restored to the throne with a mega-deal to keep the Portuguese pouter at the Bernabeu until 2021, should it suit the purposes of both parties.
On Tuesday, a solution was reported in the Italian press for how to pay for both of these two money-sucking monsters - shifting James Rodriguez to Juventus. Seeing as the footballer is of a fringe variety these days, costs a heck a lot of cash in salary, could still command a fee and the Serie A side are looking for a cure to accusations of being plodding without Paul Pogba, it's a win-win-win situation for all.

2) Madrid loose Kroos control for Clasico
From a midfielder that is rather surplus to requirements to another that is very much needed at Real Madrid.
And that’s why Tuesday’s news is even more upsetting for those of a Madridista bent. Toni Kroos is set to miss the rest of 2016 – including the Madrid derby and the Clasico – having suffered a broken footbone. The injury was suffered during Madrid’s win over Leganes on Sunday and adds to a season that has also seen midfield partners, Luka Modric and Casemiro, sidelined.
3) Zlatan says Man Utd is puzzle to be put together
King Zlatan appears to be moving through a grown-up, mentoring phase of his life at Manchester United, probably because the goalscoring super-star era is now over.
Musing over an indifferent start to the season for the Old Trafford club, He points the finger of blame on the time taken to integrate new players and systems. And deal with Mourinho’s daily nonsense. "The pieces are there, we just need to put the puzzle together,” said The King.
4) Pioli finally on brink of moving Inter Milan
Merciful Zeus, Sports Burst hopes it never has to write these lines again. But Inter are expected to announce on Tuesday the hiring of former Lazio boss, Stefano Pioli, as their third coach since the summer after his former club officially cancelled their contract with him. The first match for the newbie on the bench? The Milan derby. That should be fun.
5) Curry is hot stuff in three-pointer frenzy
In what is arguably the second biggest talking point in the US of A today, Stephen Curry is now officially the prince of the three-pointers after 13 of them in a win for the Warriors over the Pelicans on Monday night. Curry had previously shared the best total of 12 with Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall, but needed just 17 attempts to go one better.
WHAT IS SPORTS BURST?
The life philosophy of Sports Burst is that if you are not upsetting someone, then you are not trying hard enough. SB is a daily trawl and troll through the morning's sports news to bring you fact-nuggets to make you both smile and swear. Hopefully at the same time.
