Brazil's president Michel Temer has declared three days of national mourning following the Chapecoense plane crash.

A plane carrying Brazilian Serie A side Chapecoense to the Copa Sudamericana final crashed in Colombia on Monday night, claiming 76 lives.

Now, Temer has confirmed through his Twitter account that the nation would go into a state of mourning following the tragedy. Temer had previously stated the government would be doing everything possible 'to ease the pain of the friends and families' of the players involved.
