James Rodriguez has joined Bayern Munich on a two-year loan from Real Madrid.
The German side will pay €10m over the two seasons for James, €5m each season, and also have an option to buy at the end of the deal standing at €35.2m.
The 25-year-old had grown frustrated in Madrid, having lost his place in the team and not been counted as a regular for Zinedine Zidane.
Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Chelsea were all linked with the Colombian star but it's the German champions who have moved in quickest.
“FC Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have agreed on the change of Colombian national player James Rodriguez to the German championship on Tuesday,” read a Bayern statement.
"The two clubs agreed on a two-year loan transaction until June 30, 2019 with the following purchase option for FC Bayern Munich.
"James Rodriguez will sign his contract in Munich after successfully completing the compulsory medical check."
