Real Madrid rescued a 2-2 draw thanks to Vinícius Jr. against a Bayern Munich that thrived at home in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League Semifinal. Leroy Sané and Harry Kane scored for the hosts, while Vinícius Jr. netted a brace for the visitors.

Mbappé One Goal Away from Surpassing Himself

The first half of the match was marked by equality; however, an extraordinary counterattack by Real Madrid resulted in a goal as Vinícius Jr. beat Neuer to give the visitors the lead in the 24th minute. However, in the second half, Bayern only needed four minutes to turn the game around with goals from Sané in the 53rd minute and Harry Kane from the penalty spot in the 57th minute.

Later on, the Real Madrid DNA flourished at the Allianz Arena as they managed to withstand the opponent's onslaught. After a penalty in favor of Real Madrid, Vinícius Jr. stepped up and equalized the score.
