VIDEO | PSG knocked out by Borussia Dortmund in Champions League Semifinals
Paris Saint-Germain, managed by Luis Enrique, was knocked out by Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League Semifinals. After falling 0-1 at the Signal Iduna Park, the same result occurred at the Parc des Princes, granting BVB passage to the final at Wembley (1-0 on aggregate).
The German team will play their third final of the top European competition, which they won in 1997 after defeating Juventus Turin and lost in 2013 against Bayern Munich.
Edin Terzic's side managed to keep PSG under control, despite Luis Enrique's team showing a lot of drive, hitting the woodwork four times, adding to the two from the first leg, and missing more contribution from their star Kylian Mbappé.
The French team, seeking their second final after the 2020 loss to Liverpool, saw the Qatari-backed project of the French capital once again fall short of their ultimate goal, the Champions League.
The second finalist will emerge from Wednesday's clash between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, who drew 2-2 in the first leg in Germany.
