PSG forward Kylian Mbappé will not play in his team's penultimate league match against Nice on Wednesday due to discomfort in his left hamstring, the club announced.

The player "will remain under medical care," PSG added in their medical update on the eve of the match. The Parisians have nothing at stake in the game as they are already mathematically crowned champions of France.

The match in Nice was one of the three remaining fixtures for Mbappé with the PSG jersey, which he will stop wearing at the end of this season, as he announced last week.

Now, he only has the league match against Metz next Sunday and the French Cup final against Lyon in Lille on the 25th, where he could add another trophy to his record, the thirteenth as a Parisian.
