Vinicius Jr and Brazil Ready to Play at the Santiago Bernabéu
Vinícius Júnior, a player for Real Madrid, expressed that it will be "a great emotion" to play at the Santiago Bernabéu with the Brazilian national team.
The forward, who is already in London, will play two friendly matches this week with Brazil, against England (March 23) and Spain (March 26).
"It will be a great emotion to play at the Bernabéu, which is my home, alongside a majority of Real Madrid fans and wearing the national team jersey," Vinícius said in statements to the national team media.
"I am very happy to be here. The excitement is like it's the first time, and we are very prepared to achieve our goals, which is the Copa América. For that, we need to prepare with matches like these."
"It's always good to play against the best. That's where we can show our strengths. We need to be focused from the beginning to play a good match and beautiful football."
These friendlies will serve Brazil as preparation for the Copa América in the United States and for the World Cup 2026 qualifying phase.
