Lewandowski Pushes for La Liga's Pichichi Title
With his hat-trick against Valencia, the Polish striker has already scored 16 goals in La Liga, narrowing the gap with Bellingham, Sorloth, and Dovbyk.
With his hat trick in Barcelona's victory over Valencia (4-2), Robert Lewandowski now has 16 goals in LaLiga EA Sports, placing him just three goals away from the competition's top scorer, Girona's forward Artem Dovbyk.
Ahead of Barcelona's No. 9 in the race for top scorers in the Primera División are also Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) and Alexander Sorloth (Villarreal), each with 17 goals, with five LaLiga matchdays remaining.
In fact, Lewandowski and Dovbyk will face each other in Montilivi next Saturday, in a final stretch of the season where the Polish striker will have the chance to catch up to the top scorer during visits by Real Sociedad and Rayo Vallecano to the Estadio Olímpico Lluís Companys and Barcelona's trips to Sevilla's Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium and Almería's Power Horse Stadium.
