Dinamo refutes the news, spread by several media outlets, claiming that Edelino, not Edgar, joined the club last February from Feyenoord in the Netherlands.

The Romanian club asserted that Edgar Ié was signed through a prestigious European sports agency, with transparency and legality prevailing throughout the process.

Dinamo clarified in its statement that Edgar Miguel Ié received "an international transfer certificate issued by the Turkish Federation, verified by the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) and FIFA, registered by the Professional Football League (LPF). He also received a registration certificate from the General Immigration Inspection (IGI)."

The news emerged when a Romanian journalist noted Dinamo's surprise at the player's lack of proficiency in English, communicating only in Portuguese despite having previously played in Spain, France, Turkey, and the Netherlands.

Dinamo has announced its intent to take legal action against the author of this false information "for serious damage to the club's image."

Edgar Miguel Ié is a 30-year-old Portuguese footballer who, at the age of 14 in 2008, signed for Sporting Clube de Portugal and joined Barcelona B in 2012. He has also played for Nantes.
