Fabian Johnson Likely Won't Play in First Game Against Guatemala
The U.S. international came off in the 70th minute of Borussia Monchengladbach's 2-1 loss to Schalke on Friday.

The US Men's National Soccer team continued its preparations for a CONCACAF World Cup qualifier in Guatemala in Miami and sources near the team say that Fabian Johnson likely won't play in the game.
The debate over what position Johnson should play for the U.S. national team during its upcoming qualifiers was quelled a bit over the weekend.
Johnson exited Borussia Monchengladbach's 2-1 loss to Schalke on Friday with a right adductor strain, the club announced, throwing the 28-year-old's national team availability into question.
The faces Guatemala on March 25 before hosting the same opponent in Columbus, Ohio, four days later.
Johnson is enjoying a career year with Monchengladbach, having scored eight goals over 30 appearances in all competitions. He started both qualifiers in November as the Americans began the road to Russia 2018 with a 6-1 win over St. Vincent and the Grenadines and a 0-0 draw at Trinidad and Tobago.
A starter at right back in October's Confederations Cup playoff loss to Mexico, Johnson was deployed as a left winger in the World Cup qualifying opener before shifting to left back against Trinidad and Tobago.
