Argentinian midfielder Enzo Fernández, from Chelsea, underwent surgery this Thursday due to a groin problem and will miss the remainder of the season.

Enzo, one of the standout players for struggling Chelsea this campaign, will now begin a rehabilitation process and will not feature for the team in the remaining six Premier League matches.

"The 23-year-old player will work with the club's medical staff on his rehabilitation at Cobham," Chelsea said in a statement.

Enzo's intention is to recover in time for the Copa America with Argentina, which kicks off on June 20th in the United States.
