The Light Blues picked up a big point on the road as they soaked up lots of pressure form the hosts in Prague. But they stood firm to secure a share of the spoils ahead of the return meeting at Ibrox. 

Rangers secured what could be a priceless point on the road as they soaked up lots of Sparta Prague pressure.

Philippe Clement was forced into a formation change for this one with the new Ibrox gaffer opting to go with three at the back in the shape of Connor Goldson, Ben Davies and John Souttar after Borna Barisic was ruled out injured after his knock in the weekend victory over Hibs. 

Ridvan Yilmaz was left out of the European squad by former boss Michael Beale with the new man in the dugout opting to go with experience rather than throwing in young Adam Devine.

Jack Butland - as he has so often done this season - was called upon on numerous occasions to deny the hosts while some excellent blocks and tackles notable from Souttar and John Lundstram helped keep the hosts out. 

The Light Blues grew into the occasion in the final 20 minutes with Sam Lammers going close but his effort was superbly saved before substitute Danilo rattled the bar with just five minutes left on the clock.
