Sevilla and Lens started their respective Champions League campaigns with a point on Wednesday evening.
The hosts made a dream start when Lucas Ocampos produced a flicked header past Lens keeper Brice Samba. It was a night to remember for former Spain and Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos who made his 138th Champions League appearance, the first with Sevilla.
Lens, who was playing in the Champions League for the first time in 21 years found parity in spectacular fashion. Angelo Fulgini stepped up from a set piece to smash home a free-kick and hand Lens a share of the spoils.
