Olympique Lyonnais 1 Bordeaux 1
Lyon and Bordeaux shared the points in an interesting 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon. Yann Karamoh thought he had opened the scoring for the visitors, however, the French striker was correctly adjudged to be offside and the goal was chalked off.
Bordeaux had the better of the first half chances, and perhaps could of taken the lead had Jimmy Briand's curved effort not been tipped round the post by Lopez in the Lyon goal. The visitors were made to rue their missed chances as on the stroke of half-time Lyon took the lead. Moussa Dembélé knocked a cross to the back post and Houssem Aouar was on hand to guide his first time shot into the back of the net.
Briand then crafted a golden opportunity to level the score for Bordeaux with a through ball to Younousse Sankharé, however, the Senegalese midfielder blazed his effort over from close range. Briand again was amongst the chances, latching onto a long ball however after hopefully throwing a boot at the pass his shot rolled inches wide. Briand made way for striker Andreas Cornelius and it proved to be a turning point for the visitors. Out of nothing, the Dane latched onto a clearance and arrowed a shot into the bottom left-hand corner to give Bordeaux a deserved share of the points.
