Cavs Kevin Love adds knee scare to list of injury woes
After Kevin Love returned to the line-up following his latest bout of back spasms, the All-Star forward is now dealing with a knee issue.
Reigning NBA champions the Cleveland Cavaliers cannot seem to catch a break this season as Kevin Love faces time on the sidelines.
After Love returned to the line-up following his latest bout of back spasms, the All-Star forward is now dealing with a knee issue.
Love injured his left knee in Saturday's 125-109 win over the Denver Nuggets and has already been ruled out of Tuesday's game at the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Cavs announced on Sunday.
According to the team, Love is dealing with "soreness and effusion."
Love underwent an MRI on his knee on Sunday - with the results undisclosed - and will undergo further tests next week.
The Cavs' final game before the All-Star break is Wednesday at home to the Indiana Pacers.
Love is scheduled to play in next weekend's All-Star game in New Orleans, injury pending.
The four-time All-Star is currently averaging a double-double this season (20 points per game, 11.1 rebounds per game).
