Kyrgios pulls out of Monte Carlo Masters
World number 15 Nick Kyrgios will start his clay-court season in Estoril after withdrawing from Monte Carlo.
Nick Kyrgios has announced he will not be competing at the Monte Carlo Masters.
The ATP Masters 1000 event begins on Monday (AEST) but the Australian, who is believed to be suffering from fatigue, has decided to delay the start of his clay-court season until the Estoril Open on 1 May.
"Unfortunately I won't be competing in Monaco as planned," Kyrgios posted on Twitter. "I'm working hard to be ready for Estoril which will be my first clay court event."
Krygios has enjoyed an impressive 2017 season, suffering four defeats this year.
