Brown blow for Scotland and Glasgow
Scotland has lost Fraser Brown and captain Greig Laidlaw to injury ahead of the Tests against Samoa, New Zealand and Australia.
Scotland hooker Fraser Brown will miss the autumn internationals because of a knee injury.
Brown did the damage in a European Champions Cup defeat at Exeter Chiefs last weekend and Glasgow Warriors revealed that he will be out for up to eight weeks.
The 28-year-old's absence is another blow for Scotland head coach Gregor Townsend after captain Greig Laidlaw suffered a fractured ankle that will keep him out of the Tests against Samoa, New Zealand and Australia next month.
Brown will be sorely missed by Glasgow the European Champions Cup clash with Leinster as well as a double-header against Montpellier and a host of Pro14 encounters.
There is positive news on Glasgow and Scotland full-back Stuart Hogg, who will make his first appearance of the season against Leinster after recovering from shoulder surgery.
