All Blacks, Springboks await Namibia World Cup
The daunting task of competing in a pool featuring New Zealand, South Africa and Italy is Namibia's reward for reaching the Rugby World Cup.
Namibia defeated Kenya 53-28 to book a sixth successive appearance at the Rugby World Cup, where it will face holder New Zealand and perennial heavyweight South Africa.
Namibia has appeared in each edition of the event since making its debut in 1999, although it has not progressed beyond the pool stage.
It will be hard pressed to improve on that record next year in Japan, where the All Blacks and Springboks will be heavy favourites to advance from Pool B, which also contains Six Nations side Italy.
The final team in the pool will be the winner of the repechage event featuring Kenya, Germany, Canada and Hong Kong.
