Arsenal faces tricky Moscow test
Arsenal will face a tricky quarter-final tie in the UEFA Europa League after being drawn against CSKA Moscow.
The Gunners finished off AC Milan in the Round of 16, winning 5-1 on aggregate to reach the last eight of a European competition for the first time since 2010, but CSKA Moscow will be no pushover in the last eight.
The Russian side defeated Lyon, the city that will host this season's final, on away goals after the two legs finished 3-3, losing 1-0 at home but storming over Lyon 3-2 in the second leg to claim a famous victory.
LaLiga side Atletico Madrid breezed into the last eight with an 8-1 aggregate win over the Russian capital's other side, Lokomotiv Moscow, and will be closer to home when it faces Sporting Club in the last eight.
Diego Simeone's side will be confident of progressing to the semi-finals from that match-up, and many have already selected it as a favourite for the title.
In the other matches, Italian giant Lazio plays Red Bull Salzburg, which shocked Borussia Dortmund in the quarter-finals.
Meanwhile, Dortmund's Bundesliga colleague RB Leipzig and sponsor sharer with Salzburg — playing in the competition for the first time — faces a stern test against Marseille, which has plenty of experience in Europe, but hasn't won a major trophy since its European Cup triumph of 1993.
Ties will be played on Friday 6 April (AEST).
