Kane to return to training in April
Harry Kane has damaged the ligaments in his right ankle but should return to training in April, Tottenham Hotspur has announced.
Kane was substituted in the 34th minute of his side's Premier League win over Bournemouth at the weekend, after suffering a heavy blow on his ankle from Asmir Begovic as he turned home Christian Eriksen's cross from an offside position.
There had been concerns the player would be out until May, and possibly struggling to make the FIFA World Cup with England.
But that fear appears to have been misguided, with Kane now expected to be back earlier and possibly before the end of the season.
