beIN SPORTS shines the spotlight on Thai Formula 2 driver, Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak in a new Off the Grid Origins special

beIN SPORTS is bringing fans closer to Thailand’s most exciting young motorsport talent, Tasanapol “Tas” Inthraphuvasak, in a new half-hour special charting his journey through Formula 2 and his ambition to reach the pinnacle of motorsport, Formula 1.

Presented in partnership with global travel connectivity brand Nomad eSIM, Off the Grid Origins: Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak goes beyond the racetrack to discover the story behind the young Thai driver, the people who have shaped his career and what it takes to compete at this level.

At just 20, Tas is already making his mark. Following a breakthrough 2025 Formula 3 campaign, where he claimed three victories and finished seventh in the Championship, he stepped up to Formula 2 with ART Grand Prix in 2026.

His first season in Formula 2 has been one of learning, resilience and breakthrough moments. After scoring points in both races in Melbourne, Tas had to navigate some challenging race weekends before finding his stride as the season progressed.

That breakthrough came at Spa-Francorchamps. Tas qualified on the front row, just 0.039 seconds from pole, before going on to lead the Feature Race and finish second. It was his first Formula 2 podium and the first for a Thai driver since Alex Albon in 2018.

But there is much more to Tas’ story than what fans see on the racetrack.

Off the Grid Origins takes fans behind the scenes to understand what has shaped him as a driver and what it takes to compete at this level. Tas opens up about his journey so far, the highs and lows of racing and the ambition that continues to drive him.

The special also brings together some of the people who know him best, including his parents, manager, mental coach and racing team, offering different perspectives on his talent and development, as well as the support and sacrifices that have helped him get to where he is today.

Away from racing, fans will also get to know another side of Tas, including how he balances life as a professional racing driver with studying mechanical engineering in the United Kingdom.
